What is Plastic Surgery (Cirugia Plastica) and what are the most common types??

Surgery (Cirugia Plastica) is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body.  A doctor who performs plastic surgery is called Plastic Surgeon (Cirujanos Plastico).

People who aims to reconstruct a part of the body or improve its functioning, Plastic Surgery ( Cirugia Plastica) is a great option.
Some of the common types of Plastic Surgeries (Cirugia Plasticas) are:
1.  Hair transplantation
Hair transplantation surgery, also known as hair restoration, is performed to improve the appearance of baldness.  In this procedure, hair is moved from an area of thick growth to a bald area.
The hairs which are moved are permanent, which means that no long-term care is necessary.  Most hair transplants result in successful hair growth after the procedure.
2. Rhytidectomy
Rhytidectomy, or facelift, is the surgical removal of wrinkles, meant to give the patient a more youthful appearance. Facelifts may involve a combination of surgical techniques but typically involves the removal of excess skin and the re-draping of skin on the person’s neck and face. Procedures are usually done under deep twilight sleep or general anesthesia.
3. Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty also known as a “nose job.” This is done to correct and reconstruct the shape of the nose by repairing congenital defects, trauma, respiratory impediment, or failed surgery to enhance the shape of the nose. The Plastic Surgeon (Cirujanos Plasticos) may perform either a closed or open rhinoplasty procedure; the difference being the open rhinoplasty involves cutting into the columella of the patient’s nose.
4. Lip augmentation
Lip augmentation is a type of procedure that aims to increase lip fullness, used to increase lip volume, shape and structure through enlargement using fillers such as hyaluronic acid, fat or implants.  Lip augmentation is not permanent. The effects tend to last around 6 months before a second procedure is necessary to restore shape and volume.
5. Breast augmentation
Breast augmentation (colloquially known as a "boob job") is a Plastic Surgery (Cirugia Plastic) technique using breast-implants and fat-graft mammoplasty techniques to increase the size, change the shape, and alter the texture of the breasts of a woman. Augmentation mammoplasty is applied to correct congenital defects of the breasts and the chest wall.
6.  Mastopexy
Mastopexy also called breast lift, is done to lift the sagging breast of women may also involve a change to the size, elevation, and contour of the breasts.  It involves the removal of excess tissue, overstretched suspensory ligaments, and often, moving the nipple-areola complex to a place higher on the breast.  Mastopexy procedures are also applied during a reduction mammoplasty, which is the reduction in oversized breasts.
